From Friday Nights Live to the Midsummer Shakespeare Festival, our calendar is chock full of rousing events and annual festivals.

There’s something fun to do for everyone. The weekly Claremont Farmers and Artisans Market every Sunday is the largest of its kind in the region. For arts and crafts lovers, there’s the monthly First Saturday Art Walk and the Village Venture Arts & Crafts Faire in October.

Families flock to events such as Things That Go Bump in the Night at California Botanic Garden in October and Inland Pacific Ballet’s The Nutcracker in December. And nature enthusiasts can celebrate and discover the beauty of various native plants at the Annual Wild Flower Show and Festival in April and other botanic garden events.

Friends of the Claremont Library presents a meet-and-greet/ presentation by Ellen Harper at Alexander Hughes Community Center, 1700 Danbury, Claremont on Saturday March 5 at 2:00pm.
Ellen is a singer, songwriter, mother to Grammy-winning musician Ben Harper, author of “Always a Song” and proprietor of Folk Music Center in the Claremont Village.
Event is free and open to the public. Attendance limited to the first 100 people.
