DESCRIPTION:4th of July Celebration \nThe 4th of July Celebration will again occur over two days this year\, with the Freedom 5000 1K/5K Run/Walk taking place on Saturday\, July 1 and the parade and festival on Tuesday\, July 4. \nThe theme for 2023 4th of July Celebration is “Happy and Free in 2023!” submitted by Vincent Vuong\, a 4th-grade student at Condit Elementary School. The Independence Day Committee chose the winning theme from entries submitted by K-6th grade students living or attending school in Claremont. Mr. Vuong will receive fireworks tickets\, a certificate\, a special place in the parade and will lead the flag salute at the official flag-raising ceremony. \nSaturday\, July 1\, 2023 – Freedom 5000 5K Run/Walk and 1K Kids Fun Run\nThe celebration will begin on Saturday\, July 1\, 2023\, with the Claremont Village Freedom 5000 Run/Walk. \nTuesday\, July 4\, 2023 – Parade\, Festival\, Fireworks\, & Concert\nThe festivities will continue Tuesday\, July 4\, 2023\, with the pancake breakfast\, parade\, festival\, fireworks show\, and concert. \nEvent Pages:\n\nContests\nFreedom 5000 1K/5K\nParade (10:00 a.m.)\nFestival (10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.) at Memorial Park \nSponsorship Opportunities\nT.
