DESCRIPTION:Heart of the Foothills\nSunday\, April 23 / 9am to 4pm\nThe Golden Streets Heart of the Foothills open street event will take place in the cities of Pomona\, Claremont\, La Verne\, and San Dimas.\nStreets in the Claremont Village including First Street\, College Avenue\, and Arrow Highway will be partially closed to vehicle traffic.\nModeled after the thousands of other “open streets” or “ciclovia” events that have been organized around the world and across the United States\, Golden Streets temporarily opens stretches of roadway for people to walk\, jog\, skate\, bike and more in the San Gabriel Valley. The event series is organized by ActiveSGV\, an SGV-based non-profit organization dedicated to realizing a safer\, more sustainable and equitable San Gabriel Valley.

There is no “right” way to experience 626 Golden Streets Heart of the Foothills.\nParticipants may join and depart the event route anywhere they wish.
