ABOUT THE RESTAURANT

Packing House Wines has served the Southern California community of Claremont since 2007. They offer a wide variety of wines from all over the world, a bar and a full-service seasonal restaurant. This family-owned and operated premier wine retailer is essentially two businesses under one roof. It’s a unique shopping and dining experience for locals and tourists alike. Located in the rustic former orange-packing house—built in 1909 during the height of the citrus industry—you’ll be right in the heart of downtown Claremont.

Packing House Wines was recently named one of Wine Spectator’s ‘Best of’ and is a regionally recognized source for boutique wines in the Inland Empire.  The knowledgeable team members, many of whom have participated in the Court of Master Sommelier education program, take great pride in their continuous growth of wine knowledge. They can help you find the perfect wine to pair with your meal or select a special occasion wine for a custom gift basket.

Whether looking for a romantic evening out or a fun night with friends, you’ll enjoy the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The beautiful rustic setting with a shop, bar and an outdoor patio is the perfect place to relax. Their menu features seasonal dishes made with locally sourced ingredients. We love the Charcuterie Board, Fried Brussel Sprouts, Seared Ahi, Poutine and Poke Tostada. For dessert, you can’t go wrong with the Praline Cheesecake.
