What is the Village Venture Arts & Crafts Faire and what can attendees expect?
The Village Venture Arts & Crafts Faire is one of the largest and most popular annual events in Claremont, California. The event showcases the work of local artisans and crafters and brings family, friends, and neighbors together. We’d love for you to join us!
Attendees can expect to find a wide range of arts and crafts for sale, as well as great live music entertainment, delicious local food and drink vendors and of course, unique arts, crafts and apparel. It’s the perfect event for arts and craft lovers and you’ll be able to find unique gifts for everyone on your list. In addition to one-stop-holiday-shopping, there will also be food vendors, live music, and a kids’ zone. You’ll have a ton of family-friendly fun!
Here is the schedule for the all-day Family Entertainment:
Claremont Depot (Subject to Change)
9 am – The 40th Annual Village Venture celebration begins
9:30 am – Line Up for the Children’s Parade All ages welcome!
9:45 am – Children’s Parade Starts on First Street by Claremont Depot Children can wear their Halloween costumes if they choose. Parents are welcome to walk with them.
11 am to 11:20 am – Join the 40th Year Village Venture Celebrate with officials in front of the Chamber offices on Yale as they welcome a return to normalcy!
11 am to 11:30 am – Franklin Haynes Marionettes & Las Marionetas en Desfile A multicultural, bilingual fiesta show set to lively and passionate Mariachi and South American music. The lively marionettes teach about some of the traditions of Latin America while teaching common Spanish words that are important to know!
11:45 am to 1:15pm – Moultrie Singers
1:30 pm to 2:30 pm – Claremont Community School of Music performing to enrich the lives of the community through music.
3 pm to 3:30 pm – Claremont Ukulele Group musical community club and ukulele orchestra with players of all ages and levels.

When and where will the Village Venture Arts & Crafts Faire take place in Claremont, California?
This year’s Village Venture will take place on Saturday, October 22nd from 9am to 5pm.
There is an uber drop off/pick up area and convenient, FREE parking shuttles nearby.
The Village Venture is a great opportunity to get out and about and explore all that Claremont has to offer. Start off at the Claremont Depot and work your way over to the food trucks on First Street. Check out the creative arts & crafts vendors, as well as all of Claremont’s local businesses and non-profit organizations. You’ll be enchanted by this charming village as you stroll through the tree lined streets of Claremont and we hope you’ll come back and visit any time of year.

The Village Venture will feature over 400 vendors with products and goods created by local artists, makers, artisans and craftspeople. They’ve come from all over the state this year and we’re thrilled to have them.

Southern California Golden Retriever Rescue – Nonprofit organization – The 3rd largest #GoldenRetriever rescue in the country, homing 300+ dogs annually. All dogs are with foster families while awaiting adoption.
The Claremont Chamber of Commerce / Discover Claremont will also be at the Village Venture, always proudly supporting Claremont & the business community, just as we’ve done for 💯 years! We love promoting our Claremont businesses and encourage residents and visitors to shop locally. Come to our booth with any questions (?) you may have because we’ve got an amazing Information Station!

Beer, Cider & Wine Garden – This is really a number of booths combined, so come by and quench your thirst with whatever floats your boat. Claremont is home to some of the best brews and wine tasting around. Work your way through the food booths and some libations, you’ll need sustenance to keep on shopping.
