Looking for something entertaining to do near the Inland Empire this weekend? Claremont welcomes out-of-town visitors and Southern California locals to enjoy our arts, music and outdoor events. From Friday Nights Live to the Midsummer Shakespeare Festival, our calendar is chock full of rousing events and annual festivals.
There’s something fun to do for everyone. The weekly Claremont Farmers and Artisans Market every Sunday is the largest of its kind in the region. For arts and crafts lovers, there’s the monthly First Saturday Art Walk and the Village Venture Arts & Crafts Faire in October.
Families flock to events such as Things That Go Bump in the Night at California Botanic Garden in October and Inland Pacific Ballet’s The Nutcracker in December. And nature enthusiasts can celebrate and discover the beauty of various native plants at the Annual Wild Flower Show and Festival in April and other botanic garden events.

SPACE SUNSET follows the work of MIKE HILL focusing on his stained glass installation at Ontario Airport. Mike’s sculptures are found throughout numerous locations in the Claremont Village. He reflects on his life as an artist and the importance of following one’s calling.
ALWAYS A SONG ELLEN HARPER highlights her memories in the folk music world and her life in Claremont. Ellen recounts episodes from her book of the same name including luminaries from the music world interlaced with experiences from a socially changing world.
MUSIC IS THE LANGUAGE OF THE SOUL JAMES LINAHON speaks about his role to assist musicians to excel and his work with iconic stars including Frank Sinatra. He’s an award-winning music producer, composer and sound engineer with more than 400 recording projects for film, television and radio.
