Events In Claremont
Looking for something entertaining to do near the Inland Empire this weekend? Claremont welcomes out-of-town visitors and Southern California locals to enjoy our arts, music and outdoor events. From Friday Nights Live to the Midsummer Shakespeare Festival, our calendar is chock full of rousing events and annual festivals.
There’s something fun to do for everyone. The weekly Claremont Farmers and Artisans Market every Sunday is the largest of its kind in the region. For arts and crafts lovers, there’s the monthly First Saturday Art Walk and the Village Venture Arts & Crafts Faire in October.
Families flock to events such as Things That Go Bump in the Night at California Botanic Garden in October and Inland Pacific Ballet’s The Nutcracker in December. And nature enthusiasts can celebrate and discover the beauty of various native plants at the Annual Wild Flower Show and Festival in April and other botanic garden events.

California Botanic Garden brings back our celebration of words amongst the wildflowers with the return of the A Garden of Verses Poetry Festival. Kicking off both national Poetry Month and CalBG’s Wildflower Month, guests are invited to walk the paths amongst spring blooms, happening upon multiple poetry stations scattered throughout the Mesa gardens. All ages are welcome at this celebration of the power of poetry to capture the beauty of nature, with activity stations supplementing the poetry readings and allowing guests to create their own poems.
