Janet Klein & her Parlor Boys — Folk Music Center
February 11 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
$25Cuddle UP! Our yearly Romantic Tradition to bring the Lovingest Tunes to the Inland Empire at the legendary and beloved Folk Music Center.
Janet Klein probably should have been born at the beginning of the 20th century, when the “obscure, naughty and lovely” songs she sings were popular. It’s the era to which she feels most drawn, and whose spirit and style she so successfully recreates with her music. The L.A.-based singer records and performs a vast repertoire of long-forgotten material– songs from the 1910’s, 20’s and ’30’s that few people even know exists.
