To coincide with the exhibition of the same title at the Claremont Lewis Museum of Art, Vince Skelly: A Conversation with Trees will look at the process and inspiration that has brought Skelly much acclaim in the art/design world. Carving tree trunks, many harvested in the aftermath of the epic Claremont windstorm of January 2022, Skelly explores the space between sculptural form and functional object.
